These Paris Manufacturing "Downhill" skis are the ridgetop style ski and have complete beartrap cable bindings. They have the nice Paris decals (and the Suns NY Sporting Goods logo) on the tip which are still clearly visible. These were some of the nicest skis of the era.
Paris Manufacturing Co. was founded by Henry Morton in 1861 in Paris, Maine. It was best known for making sleds and skis, but the company also made desks and other unique furnishings.
